I’ve been a private patient of Dr Allan Fox for the last couple of years
…and have always found him to be professional, knowledgeable, helpful, genial, eloquent and empathetic and who generally has the sort of ‘bedside manner’ so rarely found with time-pressed GPs these days. I have found the private GP service provided by Dr Fox and the associated administration absolutely first-rate and excellent value for money. I have used this service both for my elderly mother and for myself. Knowing that this private GP service exists brings me great peace of mind as it means that if my mother or I need to see a doctor urgently or need prompt medical advice, we can obtain this and also have the enjoyment of knowing that we are relieving the pressure on the excellent NHS GP practice where we are registered.
In addition to his superb medical knowledge, Dr Fox also has an absolutely first-rate clinical manner, which is as reassuring as it is curative. I very much recommend the services of Private GP Healthcare.
We have only been registered with Dr Fox for six months...
…but, already, my wife and I have had cause to call on his services on three occasions. To be able to make an appointment within hours and then to receive such professional, caring and unhurried attention is both a great relief and an undeniable pleasure. Excellent as the NHS is, this service takes health care to an entirely different level.
Swiftly Diagnosed The Problem...
I have seen Dr Fox twice. Both times he fitted me in at short notice. He swiftly diagnosed the problem and used his extensive network to refer me on to the best specialist – all in a single session. We Can See Our Doctor When The Need Arises
What is important to me, and my wife, is that we can see our doctor when the need arises. Dr Fox understands and our medical requests are dealt with promptly, and in a happy and friendly environment. Should further medical assistance be necessary then these too are dealt with promptly, which avoids waiting and unnecessary suffering. I Was Looking For a Private Doctor
Having returned to East Kent, after more than thirty years living in London, I was looking for a private doctor when I heard about Private GP Healthcare. I made a call and received an appointment with Dr Fox within a couple of days. I was seen on time, after a discussion about my medical history and present health issues, blood tests were taken and results emailed to me within forty eight hours. The vaccine I had requested was obtained and as soon as it arrived I was contacted to attend for the vaccination.
Recently I’ve experienced several health problems
Recently I’ve experienced several health problems as well as having a long term condition. I arranged an extended appointment on a Saturday morning and was able to have a holistic discussion with Dr Fox about the various problems and the impact they have on each other as well as a review of medication, some of it long term. At the appointment Dr Fox was able to give an injection into my painful knee which has eased the pain considerably while we assess whether there is a need future treatment. He also referred me for tests regarding two other unrelated conditions.
I am confident to recommend this private medical practice...
…as an efficient professional, cost effective and resourceful service. Regarding health issues it’s good to have an easily accessible fast response and reassurance about one’s health.
I decided to undertake the well man check...
…having had a totally unsatisfactory similar check from the NHS at my usual surgery. I contacted Private GP Healthcare and arranged an appointment at my convenience. I did consider the cost but thought it may be an investment, not realising then just how thorough it turned out to be. My consultation was more than I expected , with plenty of time to discuss concerns and results. I would recommend any “middle aged man” to invest in such a check as it proved to be great peace of mind.
